Throughout its long history, Ulysse Nardin has been awarded over 4000 prizes for its outstanding technological developments and innovations. Below are just a few of these.

Best Technical Innovation Watch of the Year 2015 Prize - Dubai Middle East.

The Ulysse Anchor Tourbillon receives the Tourbillon Watch Prize at the 15th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. With its constant Ulysse Anchor escapement in silicium, the Anchor Tourbillon is the outcome of eight years of research and development. The international jury of recognized experts and collectors recognized the timepiece as being at the forefront of avant-garde mechanical technology.

The same year, the Anchor Tourbillon is further recognized by Ediciones Tourbillon’s Watch of the Year Prize and the Prix Orologio Orologio dell’Anno.

At Baselworld, Revolution magazine honors the pioneering spirit behind the Ulysse Anchor Escapement. Mr Wei Koh, founder and Editor in Chief of Revolution presents the Technical Achievement Award for the Ulysse Nardin Anchor Escapement to Mr. Patrik Hoffmann, CEO of Ulysse Nardin.


Moonstruck by Ulysse Nardin receives award for Best Technical Innovation Watch at the 6th edition of the Middle East Premier Award 2010. Elected by the readers of the Arabian Watches & Jewellery (AWJ) Magazine and by members of the Premier Awards Judging Committee, the Moonstruck of Ulysse Nardin won the first place in its category.

Ulysse Nardin is recognized for the innovation and design as Moonstruck receives the Watch with Complications in Movement Award 2009 and its President, Dr. Rolf W. Schnyder is presented with a specially commissioned trophy.


The prestigious Italian watch publication L’Orologio again lists Ulysse Nardin amongst their readers' preferred watchmakers, awarding Sonata Silicium Limited Edition with 3rd Prize in the Technical Watches category of the Argo Awards.


Ulysse Nardin and its InnoVision concept watch is awarded the 2007 New Technology Award by the famous watch magazine Revolution.


The Sonata is honored with Watch of the Year 2004 in the Technical Watch category by the famous Japanese Magazine World Wrist Watch Spec.


For the fourth time in five years, after the GMT Perpetual in 2000, the Freak in 2002, the Genghis Khan in 2003, Ulysse Nardin's Sonata is honoured with the prestigious Chronos Innovation Prize. This honour is bestowed by a jury of watch experts on the most outstanding technical innovation of the year.


At the Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne, Ulysse Nardin obtains the only Prix d’Honneur for the Sun-Star deck watch.


Gold Medals for Ulysse Nardin chronometers are awarded at the International Exhibitions of Barcelona, Zürich and New York this year.


In an International Chronometer Competition organized to mark the centenary of the death of Abraham-Louis Breguet at the Observatory of Neuchâtel,Ernest Nardin carries off the only First Prize for Chronometers.


The US Naval Observatory trials: Ulysse Nardin marine chronometers take the first three places and have eight instruments in the first fourteen. A First Prize in the Tokyo International Exhibition is also awarded this year.


At the Naval Observatory, Washington DC, Ulysse Nardin receives a first place honor among the 60 marine chronometers entered. In the same trial the company takes three of the first five places among 217 deck watches entered.


Ulysse Nardin is awarded First Prize and a Gold Medal at the Buenos-Aires Centenary Universal Exhibition.


A Nardin chronometer breaks all performance records in the Hamburg Observatory trials and wins the Gold Medal at the Milan International Exhibition. At the Naval Observatory, Washington, DC, USA, Nardin chronometers take the first seven places.


A remarkable chronometer in a gold and silver case decorated with a relief-engraved allegory of the Arts and Sciences is shown at the Chicago Universal Exhibition. It wins a Gold Medal in the Marine and Pocket Chronometers category.
